Mr. Jamal Saeed Juma bin Ghalaita is a veteran banker with over 26 years of banking experience across multiple roles and responsibilities, across the corporate, retail, trade finance and human resources sectors. His roles have allowed him to offer strategic and operation leadership in different capacities in the UAE.

Mr. Jamal was previously the Deputy CEO of Emirates NBD Group in 2004 till 2011 and GM of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management (CWM) at Emirates NBD and chairman at Emirates Islamic Financial Brokerage LLC, an Independent Director at Al Baraka Banking Group BSC and an Independent Non-Executive Director at ABG Sukuk Co. Ltd., Mr. Jamal was appointed as CEO of Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) in 2011 till 2018. He was the Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Bank PJSC, Chairman at Emirates Money Consumer Finance LLC, and a Deputy Chief Executive Officer & General Manager at Emirates NBD PJSC. He also served on the board at SHUAA Capital PSC.

Mr. Jamal graduated from the University of Arizona.
